Illawarra Critical Care Club
The Illawarra Critical Care Club was established in 2019 to give junior doctors at Wollongong Hospital and surrounding hospitals the opportunity to learn more about the management of critically ill patients. The primary purpose of this club is to facilitate medical education in order to improve patient outcomes. It provides a network for doctors to share resources, knowledge, and experience with each other.
The Critical Care Club aims to facilitate the following events:

Critical Care Tutorials: 1-hour tutorials every 6-8 weeks

Critical Care Simulation & Skills Workshops: 2-hour workshops every 4-6 weeks, based at the Illawarra Shoalhaven Health Education Centre (ISHEC)

Critical Care Journal Club: junior doctor presentations involving all three critical care specialties, several times a year
